Washing Cloth Diapers: wash diapers separate of other laundry

​

1. Dump the diapers straight in to the washer including the wet bag if you have one.

2. Using the quick wash setting on your washer you will use a little detergent and cold or warm water. 

3. When the first run is done you will shake out the diapers and run the longest hot wash if possible with enough detergent for the load size. Example 10 diapers is a small load, 10-20 is a medium and 20-30 is a large.

Drying Diapers:

1. Diapers can be put into the dryer on a medium heat setting.(Diapers with with the water resistant barrier is best hung to dry to prolong life) 

2. Take diapers and put them back together. 

 

Stains:  If you have stains it does not mean the diaper is dirty. Laying out in the sun after washing works well to help remove stains and dry at the same time.

The goal from washing is diapers that smell clean, if they smell clean they are clean!  We do our best in guiding our clients with their washing routines but sometimes it take a bit of tweaking to get right for you.
